Inside43 is a high-quality, community-driven, free, quarterly magazine that explores and presents the people of the Nilgiris District of Tamil Nadu, and showcases the extraordinary range of talent and positive impact they have on this unique part of the world.

Taking its name from the TN43 vehicle registration for the district, Inside43 allows you to feel part of this amazing place.

Stories covering the environment, interviews with significant residents, the history of various parts of the district, and profiles of newcomers, are complemented with regular columnists, a photo-spread of magnificent natural features, restaurant reviews and a shopper’s guide. Of course, a feature on the tea industry is included as well as a look at the sporting and fitness activities that take place.

Each year four issues of 1,500 copies and 96 pages of content are printed. The magazine is distributed free of cost across the district through local retailers, clubs, hotels, restaurants, homestays and with advertisers.

Inside43 is a not-for-profit venture guided by an Editorial Committee, and loyally supported by local advertisers and patrons. If you are reading this, you have probably already seen the magazine and hopefully you appreciate and value the effort the community has put into creating it.

In order for the magazine to be sustainable, and to continue with free distribution, we need to increase regular contributions and so we are opening up the opportunity for you to become an Inside43 Supporter. Click here to register your interest.

As a Supporter you will receive two copies of each issue of Inside43 couriered to you anywhere in India. If you wish, you name will be publicised in the magazine and on the inside43.in website.
